The URCERI wall scanner is a compact and easy to use indoor metal detector that allows you to easily locate AC wires, pipes, and studs behind your wall. Calibrating your wall scanner is very easy and only takes a couple of seconds. After this, simply slide your metal detector over your wall in order to locate any hidden metal objects. How to use your 3-in-1 wall scanner
Using the URCERI 3-in-1 metal detector is very straightforward and easy. Simply follow the steps below and you’ll be ready to use your wall scanner in up to no time.
- Insert battery:before usage, please insert a fully charged 9v battery
- Select mode:hold your scanner close to the wall and use the selector switch to select one of the four available modes; stud, metal, AC wire, auto.
- Calibration:after selecting the mode, hold your scanner to a place on your wall where there are no metal objects. Press the ‘’test’’ button and wait until the indicator light turns green. After this, you’re ready to go.
- Hold your scanner against the wall and slowly move in any direction. When a metal object is detected, your LED indicator will light up. When you get closer to the metal object, the red light will move up.
- After locating a metal object from one side, use your wall scanner to locate it from the opposite direction. Like this, you can accurately measure where your metal pipe, stud, or wire begins and ends.
