Product Description

• Note: Without pcie splitter function in this host adapter (ASM1182E chip), so motherboard must support PCIe Bifurcation. Otherwise, only one M.2 PCIe SSD will be recognized. • Please setup pcie splitter in BIOS/UEFI into X4X4X4X4 or X4X4X8 or Hyper M.2 X16 mode. Note: X8X4X4 mode will not work.
• Chipset support PCIe Bifurcation: Intel Platform X299, C422, C621, Z390, Z370, Z490, Z590, Z690, X99; AMD Platform TRX40, X399, X570, X470, B550, B450, Z590, etc.

• Compatible with PCIe 4.0/3.0/2.0 motherboards, and install into PCI-Express X8/16 lane. To reach PCIe 4.0 speed, make sure your CPU and motherboard and PCIe SSDs are all PCIe 4.0 enabled. To reach PCIe X8 full bandwidth, setup 2 x M.2 PCIe SSD into RAID 0 mode

PCIE Bifurcation Setup in BIOS/UEFI

• Noted: This Dual M.2 PCIe SSD Host Adapter can not splitter PCIE X8 to PCIe X4X4, so your motherboard must support PCIE Bifurcation function. Otherwise, only one M.2 PCIe SSD will be recognized. If you are not sure PCIe Bifurcation of your motherboard, please provide the motherboard information, and we will reply within 24 hours.
• Setup PCIE splitter in BIOS/UEFI into X4X4X4X4 or X4X4 (Compatible with Hyper M.2 X16 mode in ASUS).
• Note: In mode X8X4X4, only one M.2 NVMe SSD will be recognized.

Soft RAID in Window 10

• When you find 2 separate M.2 NVMe SSD in Disk Management of Windows 10
• Right click the disk volume, which you want to setup soft RAID
• A pop-up window appears, click the option (Spanned/Striped/Mirrored)
• Noted: You can setup soft RAID in Linux/Mac/3rd party software also.

PCIE X8 Full Speed

• Compatible with PCIe 4.0/3.0/2.0 motherboards, and install into PCI-Express X8 lane.
• To reach PCIe 4.0 speed, make sure your CPU and motherboard and PCIe SSDs are all PCIe 4.0 enabled.
• To reach PCIe X8 full bandwidth, setup 2 x M.2 PCIe SSD into RAID 0 mode.

M.2 SSDs Installation

• M.2 SSD head tilted at 30 degree angle, inserted into Key M interface
• The brass standoff snaps into the semi-circular position at the end of the M.2 SSD
• Secure the brass standoff from the back with screw
